We can scan and digitize images from prints of all sizes. Prints that are unable to be scanned through our scanner are photographed or scanned in sections and stitched together.
Photographs are scanned at 300dpi, which is more than satisfactory for replicating the print at a variety of sizes and for archival purposes. We can also cater for customers who require a higher resolution.
Discounts are available for large quantities of photos. To qualify for bulk scanning prices, all photos and negatives must be submitted at the same time.
BULK SCANNING PREPARATION
To ensure that we can get your photos back to you promptly please make sure that your photos are loose (not in albums or envelopes). Please remove any tape or adhesive off the back of the photo to make sure they do not stick together or damage other prints. Photos of mixed sizes are generally grouped in similar sizes and then scanned. If you need them in a specific order, we can show you how to rename your files once they are scanned.
Photos that are fragile, mounted and larger than 8x12in will be scanned separately and at a cost of $3.00. Photos larger than 12x18in will be scanned at a cost of $15.00.
