Fine Art & Canvas Printing

Roylaines take pride in being able to provide customers with complete photographic solutions. We understand the importance of making your memories last which is why we only print on archival grade photo canvas and use pigment based inks; the only combination to use when you want a high quality, long lasting result. Our canvas is coated with a special UV coating that protects the canvas from dust, cracking, fading and insects, allowing you to wipe down or dust your canvas without the risk of damaging it. Once coated, we stretch our canvas around a frame so all you have to do is hang it on the wall!

Border options

At Roylaines we offer three choices for canvas borders: these being the sides of the canvas print you see once it has been stretched. Aside from white or black, we offer an ‘image wrap’ which is where we mirror the edges of your print to create a colored border around the print that matches your image. By mirroring the edges, we make sure that you don’t chop off anyone’s arms, legs or head!

Stretching

All of our canvas prices include the price of the canvas print, the special UV coating and the frame on which the canvas is stretched around. When stretching your canvas we select a ‘stretcher’ or frame that is suitable for your canvas print. where the print is quite large we reinforce the frame with additional supports to ensure that the print won’t sag or warp over time.

Fine Art Printing

We offer a variety of papers for fine art and art reproduction printing for all sizes up to 44 inches wide. Our printer uses 11 different pigment based inks and we only offer archival quality papers. We use .icc profiles to ensure colour accuracy and are happy to send them to those who are technically savvy working on calibrated systems. We also have the ability to photograph large artworks and reproduce them on fine art papers.
